Ingredients

  • 2 dl all purpose flour
  • 1.5 dl whole wheat flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 ml salt
  • 1 tsp bread spices
  • 2.5 dl plain yoghurt
  • 3 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 175 C.
  • In a bowl, combine all the dry ingredients, all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and bread spices.
  • Add yoghurt and honey and knead it into a thick dough.
  • Batter a small square bread loaf (13 cm x 13 cm).
  • Transfer the dough into the bread loaf and press it down.
  • Bake the bread in the middle of the oven for 30 minutes, then cover the loaf and bake for another 25 minutes. The internal temperature of the bread should now be at least 99 C
  • Remove from oven and let cool for at least 1 hour before slicing the bread.
  • Slice the bread and enjoy it with some butter and cheese.
