Ingredients

The Oatmeal

  • 1 dl oats
  • 2 dl water or 1 dl water/ 1 dl milk
  • 0.5 dl carrot grated
  • 0.5 tbsp maple syrup or other sweetener
  • 1 tbsp walnuts chopped
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of salt

The Frosting

  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 0.5-1 tbsp milk
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla sugar

Other Toppings

  • Maple syrup
  • Walnuts crushed

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, add oats, water, grated carrot, crushed walnuts, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Let come to a simmer and let simmer while stirring once in a while until thickened to your liking.
  • Meanwhile in a separate small bowl, mix together the "frosting". Cream cheese, milk and vanilla sugar.
  • Pour the oatmeal to a bowl and top it with the "frosting", maple syrup and some crushed walnuts.
  • Enjoy!
