Ham and Cheese Pasta
Ingredients
- 240 g pasta of choice
- rapeseed oil
- 140 g cubed ham
- 1 clove of garlic minced
- 4 dl milk
- 1 dl cream
- 0.5 dl creme fraiche
- 2 egg yolks
- 125 g mozzarella grated
- 1.5 dl green peas
- salt
- black pepper
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to the instructions on the packaging.
- In a pan, add some rapeseed oil and cook cubed ham for about 4 min.
- Lower the heat and add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 min.
- Add milk, cream, creme fraiche and egg yolk and stir until well combined.
- Raise the heat, add grated mozzarella and let the cheese melt into the sauce. Stir ones in a while.
- Add green peas and season with salt and black pepper.
- Add the cooked pasta and stir, making sure all the pasta is covered in the creamy cheeesy sauce.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
