Ingredients

  • 6.5 dl all purpose flour
  • 14 g dry yeast
  • 3.5 dl water 37 C
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp butter

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt and let it sit for 10 min.
  • Then add water (37 C!!), maple syrup and salt.
  • Work the dough in a bread mixer for about 10 min.
  • Butter a loaf pan.
  • Transfer the dough into the loaf pan and spread it out evenly.
  • Sprinkle some flour on top, cover and let rest in room temperature for about 50 min.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 C.
  • Bake the bread in the lower middle part of the oven until the internal temperature of the bread is 95 C, approx 25-30 min depending on oven.
  • Remove bread from oven, cover with a clean kitchen towel and let cool down for about 20 min.
  • Enjoy the bread with some butter!
