Semmelgröt, Almond and Cardamom Oatmeal

Ingredients

The Oatmeal

  • 1 dl oats
  • 2 dl water
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 pinches of cardamom
  • 1 pinch of salt

The Mandelmassa (almond paste)

  • 2 tbsp banana mashed
  • 2 tbsp almond flour
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • 0.5 tsp maple syrup

Other Toppings

  • frothed milk
  • chopped almonds
  • cardamom

Instructions

  • Into a bowl add oats, water, maple syrup, cardamom and salt. Microwave for 30 seconds, give it a stir and repeat until thickened to your liking.
  • Make the mandelmassa by combining mashed banana, almond flour, almond butter and maple syrup into a paste.
  • Froth some milk and chop some almonds.
  • Top your oatmeal with the mandelmassa, frothed milk, almonds and some cardamom.
  • Enjoy!
