These Healthy Chickpea Blondie Bars might not be for everyone, since you can slightly taste the chickpeas. However, if you are like me, love chickpeas and chocolate, then you will definitely love these! Give them a try!

2dl chickpeascooked, drained and dried
70gpeanut butter
80gmaple syrup
1tbsp brown cane sugar or granulated sugar
2tbsp almond flour
1tspvanilla extract
1tsp baking powder
fewpinces ofsalt
1dlchocolate chopped
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 C and line a 18 x18 cm brownie pan with parchment paper.
Dry 2 dl cooked chickpeas well with kitchen paper or a clean kitchen towel. IMPORTANT!
In a food processor, mix all the ingredients EXCEPT the chopped chocolate, into a smooth dough.
Move the dough into a bowl, add the chopped chocolate and combine using a spatula.
Spread the dough evenly onto the parchment paper
Bake for 20 - 25 min, or until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean with little crumbs.
Cool in the pan for 15 min to firm up the Blondies. IMPORTANT!
Carefully remove the blondies from the pan since they are quite fragile, then cut them into squares.
