Cut tofu into 1.5 cm cubes.
Coat the tofu in cornstarch.
Air fry tofu, 200 C 25 min. Shake the basket every 5 min.
Meanwhile mix the sauce in a bowl. Water, soy sauce, mirin, gochujang, sesame oil, honey, grated ginger, grated garlic and sliced green onion.
Heat the sauce up in a pan.
Add the tofu and coat them in sauce.
Serve these chewy spicy tofu with some Japanese rice and maybe a salad? I wrapped rice and tofu in lettuce and squeezed some kewpie mayonnaise on top! It was delicious.
