Instructions
The Meat
Combine ground beef, dijon mustard, salt and black pepper in a bowl.
400 g ground beef,
1 tsp dijon mustard
Divide the beef in 4 pieces and shape them into balls.
Heat a pan on high heat and add olive oil.
Place the beef balls on the pan and smash them flat. When they are almost fully cooked, place cheese on them and let the cheese melt.
The Sauce
Prepare the sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup and chopped pickled gherkins in a bowl.
1.5 tbsp mayonnaise,
1.5 tbsp ketchup,
2 tbsp pickled gherkins
Other
Wash lettuce and slice tomato.
4 leaves of romaine lettuce,
1 tomato
Roast burger buns in oven or on a pan.
Build the Burger
On the botton burger bun, spread some sauce. Then add lettuce, meat, tomato and roasted onion. On the top burger bun, spread ketchup, then place it on top of the burger.
