Unblended Carrot Cake Air Fried Oats
Ingredients
Baked Oats
- 0.75 dl oats 30 g
- 0.5 dl milk 50 g
- 0.5 dl carrot finely grated
- 2 tbsp walnuts chopped
- 1 tbsp raisins
- 1 tbsp plain thick yoghurt
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- a pinch of salt
Cream Cheese "Frosting"
- 0.5 tbsp cream cheese
- 0.5 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp maple syrup
Instructions
- In a bowl combine oats, milk, finely grated carrot, chopped walnuts, raisins, yoghurt, cinnamon, baking powder, maple syrup and salt.
- Transfer the batter into a ramekin and air fry at 170C/338F for about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile make the cream cheese frosting by mixing together cream cheese, milk and maple syrup.
- Once the baked oats are done, pour the frosting on top and garnish with som more cinnamon and chopped walnuts.
- Enjoy!
Notes
- If you dislike the texture of oats, you can mix the batter using a blender. However, if you decide to do so, I recommend adding the carrots, walnuts and raising AFTER blending.
- If you do not own an air fryer, you can bake it in the oven at 180C/355 for about 25 minutes and get the same result!
