Creamy Beef Pasta Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 small yellow onion chopped
- 1 clove of garlic chopped
- olive oil
- 300 g minced beef
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1.5 dl crushed tomatoes
- 1 dl milk
- 0.5 dl cream
- 1 dl parmesan cheese grated
- oregano dried
- basil dried
- thyme dried
- salt
- black pepper
Instructions
- Chop onion and garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a pan.
- Sauté onion for about 8 min, or until translucent. Make sure it doesn't burn.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 min.
- Add tomato paste and sauté 1 min.
- Push the onions to the side of the pan.
- Raise the heat. Add minced beef, spread it out on the pan and press it flat. You want to give the beef some color.
- When the bottom side of the beef has gotten some color, flip the beef and cook until the other side has gotten some color as well.
- Break the beef apart and combine it with the onions
- Add crushed tomatoes, milk, cream and ketchup and stir.
- Add grated parmesan cheese and stir.
- Season with dried oregano, basil, thyme, salt and black pepper.
- Let the sauce simmer for about 10 min
- Serve the beef sauce with some pasta and top with some extra grated parmesan cheese!
