Ingredients

  • 250 g water room temperature
  • 12 g fresh yeast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp olive oil
  • 330 g all purpose flour

Instructions

  • Pour the water in a large bowl.
  • Add yeast and stir until the yeast has dissolved.
  • Add salt and stir until dissolved.
  • Add olive oil and flour and stir into a sticky dough.
  • Cover the bowl and let rest in the fridge overnight.
  • In the morning, preheat the oven to 250 C.
  • Transfer the sticky dough onto a floured surface and divide the dough into 5 equal pieces. Do not to work the dough too much when doing this!! This is very important! If you work the dough, the bread will end up dense.
  • Place the dough pieces on a baking sheet.
  • Place the baking sheet in the middle of the oven, quickly throw in some water at the bottom of the oven and quickly close the oven to create steam.
  • Bake for about 20 min.
  • Remove bread from oven, cover the buns and let them cool down.
  • Enjoy!
