Overnight Bread
Ingredients
- 250 g water room temperature
- 12 g fresh yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp olive oil
- 330 g all purpose flour
Instructions
- Pour the water in a large bowl.
- Add yeast and stir until the yeast has dissolved.
- Add salt and stir until dissolved.
- Add olive oil and flour and stir into a sticky dough.
- Cover the bowl and let rest in the fridge overnight.
- In the morning, preheat the oven to 250 C.
- Transfer the sticky dough onto a floured surface and divide the dough into 5 equal pieces. Do not to work the dough too much when doing this!! This is very important! If you work the dough, the bread will end up dense.
- Place the dough pieces on a baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet in the middle of the oven, quickly throw in some water at the bottom of the oven and quickly close the oven to create steam.
- Bake for about 20 min.
- Remove bread from oven, cover the buns and let them cool down.
- Enjoy!
