In a small saucepan, bring water to a simmer and add the torigara soup.
2 dl water, 0.5 tsp torigara soup
Combine cornstarch and water well in a small bowl and pour it into the saucepan.
0.5 tsp cornstarch, 1 tsp water
Stir in corn, sesame oil, sugar and season with salt and white pepper.
2 tbsp corn, 0.5 tsp sesame oil, 1 pinch of sugar
Lightly beat egg in a bowl.
1 egg
Slowly drizzle the egg into the saucepan in a circular motion while using a ladle to stir the soup.
Ladle the soup into a bowl, top with sliced scallion (optional), and enjoy!
