This Egg Drop Soup is soooo comforting and only takes 10 min to make. I love to make this soup when i'm feeling cold and sick, or when I don't feel like spending much time in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 dl water
  • 0.5 tsp torigara soup or other chicken bullion
  • 0.5 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp water
  • 2 tbsp corn
  • 0.5 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • salt to taste
  • white pepper to taste
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, bring water to a simmer and add the torigara soup.
    2 dl water, 0.5 tsp torigara soup
  • Combine cornstarch and water well in a small bowl and pour it into the saucepan.
    0.5 tsp cornstarch, 1 tsp water
  • Stir in corn, sesame oil, sugar and season with salt and white pepper.
    2 tbsp corn, 0.5 tsp sesame oil, 1 pinch of sugar
  • Lightly beat egg in a bowl.
    1 egg
  • Slowly drizzle the egg into the saucepan in a circular motion while using a ladle to stir the soup.
  • Ladle the soup into a bowl, top with sliced scallion (optional), and enjoy!
