Yoghurt Oat bread with seeds and raisins
This Yoghurt Oat bread is super easy to make. It requires no yeast and the end result is incredible. It is juicy, moist and tastes so good!!
Ingredients
- 1 dl all purpose flour
- 1 dl oat flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 0.5 dl sunflower seeds or any other seeds or chopped nuts
- 0.5 dl raisin or any other dried fruit
- 200 g plain yoghurt 2 dl
- 60 g honey 0.5 dl
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- butter for buttering the loaf
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175 C.
- In a bowl, combine all purpose flour, oat flour, salt, sunflower seeds and raisins.
- In a separate bowl, combine plain yoghurt, honey and baking soda.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients (or the opposite) and use a spatula to combine.
- Batter a small square bread loaf (13 cm x 13 cm).
- Transfer the batter into the buttered bread loaf and press down gently.
- Bake in the middle of the oven for about 50 min.
- Cover the loaf with aluminum foil and bake for another 30 min.
- The internal temperature of the bread should now be at least 99 C.
- Cover the bread loaf with a kitchen towel and let rest for 1.5 to 5 hours, depending on how patient you are.
- Slice and enjoy with some butter and cheese. It is amazing!
