Total Time 35 minutes
Servings 1 portion

Ingredients

  • 0.75 dl oats old fashioned or quick oats
  • 0.75 dl milk
  • 1 small egg white
  • 2 tsp maple syrup 3 tsp if you want it to be a little more sweet
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1-2 tbsp chocolate chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180 C.
  • Into a blender, add oats, milk, egg white, maple syrup, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into a ramekin and add some chopped chocolate.
  • Bake in the middle of the oven for about 25 minutes.
  • TIPS: Top with some extra chopped chocolate halfway though if you want the chopped chocolate to stay on the surface.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Instead of an egg white, you can use 2 tbsp of mashed banana, 2 tbsp of apple sauce or 2 tbsp of plain yoghurt! If you decide to use a very ripe banana, you might want to reduce the amount of sweetener since bananas are naturally sweet.
  • If you want to save some time, try air frying the oats instead at 170C/338F for about 15 minutes, and you should end up with the same result taste wise.
