Pickled Daikon and Carrot
Ingredients
- 6 cm carrot
- 3 cm daikon
- 1 tsp sugar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 2.5 tbsp water hot
Instructions
- Peel carrot and daikon and cut them into small sticks.6 cm carrot, 3 cm daikon
- Place carrot and daikon in a bowl. Add sugar and salt and massage the vegetables for about 3 min.1 tsp sugar, 0.5 tsp salt
- Rinse the vegetables in cold water and drain well.
- In a bowl, mix together sugar, white vinegar and hot water until sugar has dissolved.1 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp white vinegar, 2.5 tbsp water
- Combine all the ingredients, the vegetables and the liquid, in a bowl. Make sure all the vegetables are covered in liquid.
- Let the pickles sit in the fridge for a few hours and enjoy!
