Ingredients

  • 1 red onion
  • 1 dl water
  • 1 dl vinegar

Instructions

  • Peel and thinly slice red onion.
  • Transfer the sliced onion into a mason jar.
  • In a small saucepan, pour in the water and vinegar and let come to simmer.
  • Pour the liquid into the mason jar. Close the jar and give it a shake to cover all the red onions.
  • Let the pickled red onions rest in the fridge for a few hours before serving. The more hours, the better.
