Pickled Red Onion
Ingredients
- 1 red onion
- 1 dl water
- 1 dl vinegar
Instructions
- Peel and thinly slice red onion.
- Transfer the sliced onion into a mason jar.
- In a small saucepan, pour in the water and vinegar and let come to simmer.
- Pour the liquid into the mason jar. Close the jar and give it a shake to cover all the red onions.
- Let the pickled red onions rest in the fridge for a few hours before serving. The more hours, the better.
