Semmelgröt (almond and cardamom oatmeal)
Ingredients
- 1 dl oats
- 2 dl water
- 0.5 ml cardamom
- a pinch of salt
Mandelmassa
- 1 tbsp almond flour
- 1 date remove pit
- 0.5 tbsp warm
Other toppings
- milk frothed
- almonds chopped
- maple syrup
- cardamom
Instructions
- Into a bowl, add oats, water, cardamom and salt. Microwave for 30 seconds, then give it a stir. Repeat until thickened to your liking
- Using a mortal, mash together almond flour, date and water into a paste. This is the “mandelmassa”.
- Chop some almonds and froth some milk.
- Transfer the oatmeal to your favourite bowl and top it with the frothed milk, maple syrup, the “mandelmassa” and chopped almonds.
