Ingredients

Teriyaki sauce

  • 2 tbsp sugar of choice
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp sake

Salmon

  • 440 g salmon
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • flour for coating
  • rapeseed oil

Instructions

  • Mix sugar, soy sauce, mirin and sake in a bowl.
  • Cut salmon into four slices.
  • Season salmon with salt and black pepper, then cover the salmon with flour.
  • Heat rapeseed oil in a medium hot pan.
  • Place the salmon, skin side down, in the pan and cook until the skin becomes crispy.
  • Flip the salmon and cook until they are almost fully cooked.
  • Lower the heat and add the sauce.
  • Cook until the salmon is cooked to your liking and until the sauce has thicken.
  • Serve the teriyaki salmon with some rice and salad.
