Ingredients

  • 50 g halloumi
  • 1 shallot
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • olive oil
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 dl chickpeas cooked
  • 1 ml cumin
  • 1 ml garam masala
  • 1 ml curry powder
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 4 tbsp coconut yoghurt
  • fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  • Cut halloumi into small cubes, about the size of a chickpea. Thinly slice shallot och mince garlic.
    50 g halloumi, 1 shallot, 1 clove of garlic
  • In a medium hot small saucepan add some olive oil.
  • Add halloumi and cook until coloured on all sides. Then remove the halloumi from the pan.
  • Add some more olive oil and sauté shallot for about 3 min.
  • Add garlic and sauté for about 2 min.
  • Add tomato paste and sauté for about 1 min.
    1 tsp tomato paste
  • Add cumin, garam masala and curry powder and cook for about 30 s.
    1 ml cumin, 1 ml garam masala, 1 ml curry powder
  • Add chickpeas, milk and yoghurt and and let simmer for 5 min.
    1 dl chickpeas, 4 tbsp milk, 4 tbsp coconut yoghurt
  • Add some chopped parsley and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Serve with fluffy flatbread like naan.
